We leave for sunny California in less than 5 hours. We're already in Yodamode. The Portal allstars will open the entire Xingolati madness with 2 sets of improv and performance art for the Launch party at The coast hotel Thursday night. Joining the Portal will be Angelo AKA "Dr. MaddVibe"- lead singer/sax player/poet/wildman and original member of Fishbone. Also Matt Butler- founder and drummer with the Everyone Orchestra, also collaborator with many including Steve Kimock and String Cheese. Also our buddy Chris Holt, guitarist from Olospo will sit in on guitar. Hopefully the boys in Particle will have time to drop in also.Marco from "Circue de soilay"? and the lovely Kamala from Indra Yoga (pictured) will improvise dancing, Yogic contortions, fire spinning, sword eating and whatever else they can do that's dangerous, all while the grooves of the portal rage bahind them. This is the 1st out of Texas show for the Portal and I must say its a hell of a way to break out of tX. we'll celebrate with a 3 day cruise to baja MX, along with some of our favorite bands.
